Hol's had to be retired this year due to arthritis in her front wrist joint. I had hoped to be able to retire her at Crufts this year but it wasn't to be. I miss not working her but she has adapted to retirement better than I thought she would & is enjoying (well as much as Holly could) her retirement.
Holly is a Working Sheepdog - the majority of Obedience dogs are. There are some extremely successful Border Collies in Ob though. Working sheepdogs tend to be from generations of obedience lines :-). She has many illustrious dogs in her line but one was Ob Ch Twisty of Challysfar who won the Crufts Ob Ch in 1988.
Amazing!
