The TASTE EMCEES is a multi talented and diverse group composed of established artists, promoters & activists from the Midwest area who focus on HipHop as community empowerment. Living by the motto, UNITE OR DIE, the TASTE EMCEES use their lyrical talent and verbal expression as a way to broadcast what is going on in the poverty-stricken neighborhoods of America and connect with the world. The TASTE EMCEES have more than just hot beats and raw lyrics because they speak for a socio-economical change that is a necessity for the survival of their people and the community as a whole. The latest projects by the TASTE EMCEES which are entitled WARNING SHOT & THE WAKE UP CALL: PREPARE FOR DRAMA, expresses the dyer need for community, institutional and governmental restructuring to form a balance between the working class, poor and the rich. The TASTE EMCEES demand for their people to wake up and prepare to fight for survival in order to secure the safety and future prosperity of our children, our childrens children and so forth. With tracks like "STOP RUNNIN" which exposes the threat of the want-to-be gangster mentality and its negative effects on our youth and overall mind state of the people "NEVER ALWAYS" which is a street tale describing the story of a young black male trying to stay positive while surrounded by negative influences in the everyday world, "MILTOWN MONEY" which is a classic Hip Hop ballad about the daily hu$tle of life from the day to the night and then there is tracks like "LATEST REVOLUTION" which takes a journey back to the birthing days of Hip Hop with old school simulated beats and over ground breaking lyrical assaults by the members of the TASTE EMCEES. This traveling show is not your average rap music; it is more of plea for the people to get motivated and initiate a change through the Hip Hop movement to ensure a better world.
