@thrhymes Wonderful to hear! Yes, it will be lovely to have you at Japanese Salon. The next one will be on Thursday 27th January 19:00. the schedule for the next year is available from our website. Where do you base?
@WillemNTE Thank you Willem!! I am so happy to hear and thank you for attending Japanese Salon and your great supports! Have a great trip to Japan!! Azumi
I love the Japanese way of ellagnce, so much thought and energy goes into so many things, which seem absurd at first. But when you listen to the reason, it truly inspires me. That probebly is the reason why I keep on traveling to Japan for my holidays and keep comming back to Japanese Salon. Azumi, see you next time for the New Years Party!
i really appreciate the japanese appreciative approach to reach harmony with others and with oneself. the next time in amsterdam i will make sure to visit the salon.
@golazybusted Thanks for your comment. I lived with my grandparents with their values and my mother had to bring me up to the standard they expect. it was way too strict- even my mother admitted that recently. But I see the benefits. As regards eating, parents, especially mothers consider it as an important ritual for the family to share time and get connected to each other. My message is not about manners, but how we create peace within ourselves and enjoy every moment of our life.
one of the best insights into the meaning and value of rituals in the japanese culture.
"manners and etiquette are important to create harmony in society or a group, but also it creates a beautyful positive feeling towards our self and others."
"if all the material wealth disappears, inner peace and elegance will stay with you."
