  • @KongoOttov2 Umm...what does that have to do with what I said? I was saying that this is not a reliable field in forensic investigation. It might seem cool "oooh so THAT'S what this person looked like!!" but it isn't really scientific.

This is a show meant for popular consumption though, so of course they'd put that in there.

  • @webbess1 Oh really the had US Courts in the iron age? :-P

  • When is someone going to point that:

They all need a hairdresser, their hairdos suck!

  • @webbess1 Maybe because these are very, very cold cases. It's not supposed to be used as evidence. They're just doing the reconstructions to give the viewer a glimpse of what they might have looked like in life.

  • When is someone going to point that 1.) Forensic facial reconstruction is highly controversial (it is not admissible evidence in US courts). 2.) It is only used as a last resort in forensic investigations?

  • 9:21.........At least with the very earliest remains, one reason may be a sacrifice of an entire family of slaves or captured enemy nobles? i know in Ireland, Celts would bind and put slaves in building foundations to ward of evil spirits.

  • 4:21.....i would use the process of elimination. look for sword cuts first, then signs of diseases, etc.

  • Thank you so much for posting these very interesting videos.

  • how about this theory, the persons all have traumas just before deaths, maybe something bad happend, and coz they knew that these kind of traumas couldn't heal, the people of the community kill them, to release them from their suffering?

  • This episode really disturbs me; very interesting, but it's so morbid. Human sacrifice does really scare me. I'm probably going to have nightmares now! Haha.
