  • This is my favorite movement of the sonata; so sad in some parts and so philosophic in the rest. Nobody can reach the sensitivity of Beethoven to understand exactly what he meant by most of it, yet the minutes 7:52-10:00 are the best ever.

  • He plays it a bit loud for my taste. I prefer Friedrich Gulda's rendition - or even better - Wilhelm Kempff

  • Woooowww!!! Alfred Brendel looks like a little boy!! LOL! So expressive... so intimate, THAT's Beethoven!
