The song is "What I Really Meant to Say" by Cyndi Thomson. The characters are Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe, as written by L.M. Montgomery, adopted by Kevin Sullivan (Sullivan Ent.) and portrayed by Megan Follows and Jonathan Crombie (respectively). I'm not sure if this is more in Gil's view point or Anne's, so you can figure that out. Screencaps are from LiveJournal user titania.
I didn't think I'd have enough shots, but ended up with too many :).

@responsiblejennifer I guess the movie will be about Anne, BEFORE she went to Green Gables. So, that is why they had to get someone else to play Anne (since Megan is too old to play a child now).

Yeah. Unfortunately I have no idea if I'll be able to see it, because from what I've seen, they're only advertising it being on CTV, which I don't get.
