Brothers, with all respect, i think the word "ya" in Arabic means "O".

For example, "ya rasool allah" = "O prophet",

"ya Allah" = "O Allah",

"ya ummie" = "O mother"

etc......... u decide.

@xxzabedxx Saying "ya rasool allah" is forbidden because you cant "ya" unless the person is alive. you can say "ya Allah" because Allah exists. you can also say "ya" then someones name who is in front of you. like "ya ali" buh if you mean Prophet Muhammad (SAW) then its haram. hope i helped. May Allah guide me if i am wrong.
