I don't personally like the Marco method as I noticed that when I start to lather (I noticed this in your demo too) with a brush that has a lot of water in it is nothing much happens until a lot of the water has left the brush. the logical thing for me to do was to get the brush to the point where there is enough water but not so much that nothing happens except flooding the soap. I get excellent and consistent results this way and I feel the soap also lasts longer than the full Marco method.
@soapbrushandblades Thanks for the helping tips on creams and soaps. Also where did you get your shaving bowl. I would love to get one. My shaving bowl always gets super cold which makes my face cold in the end. Again thank you for the resonds
@ChefRVallin Facts; Soaps are hard, and on average last longer. creams are soft and don't require you to soften them up. Both are good, quality is more important then the medium. My opinion: EJ is decent but nothing spectacular. Try the Proraso line; it is affordable barbershop quality. Get the Proraso shaving cream, pre-&post-cream & AS lotion or balm. Green line with AS lotion is Regular, menthol. White line with AS balm is Sensitive, green tea. Later try Cella, Tabac & Mitchell's Wool Fat.
Im new to de.... Which one is better cream or soap and what is the main difference between cream and soap. I get razor burn very easily but I've been finding good results with Edwin Jagger sandalwood. Also have you you guys tried feather replacement blades for de?
I can't stop laughing at this vatos voice.. he sounds like speedy Gonzales

@SoapBrushAndBlade Oh forgot, and if you want to follow it up with another cream, instead of soap, then get Speick (it's in a tube).
