100 Monkeys @100monkeysmusic - My Aunt Irene - improv song Aug 28 2011 San Diego House of Blues

My friend Carol's idea for the improv song this time was "I Survived Irene" but Jared's family was there, including his Aunt Irene, so he ran with "My Aunt Irene". Jackson did wax poetic about the hurricane so they did get the idea and regardless, we were thrilled they picked her idea!

100 Monkey's is so fun in concert. You must go and see them!

Thanks so much for capturing this, Lila! It was so exciting to get our idea picked, even though we weren't in the front. This was the closer to their North American tour, and you could - tell they were in such a partying mood onstage. Their music is really coming together. This was the best of the five 100 Monkey shows I've seen!
