At Cash America, we appreciate innovative marketing. A recent commercial, however, has crossed the line from innovative to inappropriate. Kraft Foods recently produced a commercial for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese portraying pawnshops as dark, dingy hideouts for stolen merchandise. We know the truth: http://bit.ly/hxnVSM

  • I don't thank Cash America pawn has anything to worry about. But Fucking Really Cool that their CEO Cares about his hard working employees and what they think. Really Cool !!

  • @johnmpiper I never go to pawn shops cuz I always thought there were useless old junk that people sold for money there.

  • We see the humor!

  • I work in a pawn shop as well. I really don't think that the majority of people who have seen this add will think "wow, Pawn shops are bad places". They are more likely to laugh, because the consept is funny, and possibly buy some mac and cheese!

  • I work at a pawnshop and we ask alot of questions to the people to determine if the item is lawfully their property to pawn and even though it may have been funny to some to the people working in the industry it was a misleading add that people who have never used our services will view as truth.

  • I saw the craft add, and thought it was really funny! I don't think it was offensive to pawn shops, and especially not pawn shops like Cash America, which are far from anything like a stereotypical pawn shop. I think maybe CashAmerica are taking this just a little to seriously - after all, what pawn shop would buy stuff from a young girl.

  • I see his point. You can tell this dude was pissed. But aren't we all? When something we're affiliated with gets insulted by people who have no inside perspective on it? Even as a joke, it gets really annoying to have the joke at your expense, especially if you have no chance to say anything back. Now he does. Good for him.

  • i understand what this guy means, but it's a joke, if you need a sense of humor maybe you could find one on sale at a pawnshop, if you are easily offended i suggest not turning on your tv or leave your house.

  • Well said, Thank you Mr. Feehan. Find my "Boycott Kraft" on Facebook and please join us.
