China bullying Melbourne Film Festival

China is trying to suppress information about a woman named Rebiya Kadeer, both at home and abroad.

Interesting life she's had. She was persecuted during the Chinese Cultural Revolution, she was a millionairess, she's mothered eleven children, and now she's an exiled figurehead for Uigher autonomy.

my friend, as a Uighur what I can tell you is our experience:

We had an independent republic called East Turkistan in 1940s. China and the Soviets cooperated in invading our land in 1949. They promised us a "great autonomy" at the time. however, what the Chinese did in last 60 years is killing 2 million Uighurs and having 46 nuclear test in our land. bringing millions of Chinese into our land and taking our kids to Chinese cities as cheap labors. China is a imperialist invader.
