  • friggin groovy man. best cover on youtube.

  • John Mayer- Assassin Music Video Up On Youtube!

  • man that was cool

  • Only 8 people on the dancefloor? Wait...7!!! Dude, that was so sick, awesome bunch :D Loved the jam!!! Shame it cut out at a weird point...

  • Very good cover!!! Keep Jamming out!!!

  • excellent version. forget the "do it note for note" nudnicks.. I never play anything note for note.. Mayer doesnt play note for note everytime. Guitar/vocals are more than good enough and the percussion section holds everything together, very tight.

  • I agree. I've never understood the idea of covering a song and doing it just like the original. Why bother? You're not going to "beat" the original..so take a chance.

  • I don't know why I'm wasting time commenting, but I am nevertheless. I would say Im not better than John at his song, its his song. Just as he would assuredly play my song different than I would and it would sound similar but foreign and thus not the same as the author.

  • At 2 min. I am using a keeley compressor, keeley katana boost, and a fulltone fulldrive with the first gain stage engaged. And yes, the tubescreamer baked mod from keeley is well worth it, way better then the regular Ibanez pedals. Brad Paisley is touring with two of em' set at different settings. They are like the fulldrive, but with a little more gain and cut.

  • What pedals are you running during the solo around 2 minutes or something like that. I have TS9, is the Keeley mod worth the money? Comparing to a TS9 that is.
