  • I am from Germany and i love good voices, be happy that you have these guys and here it a capella.

    Thank you fore the video.

  • hahahaha....thanks. I don't know how to take that comment?!?! lol.

The reason why we did those moves is because at quarterfinals we got a lot of laughs as you could hear in the videos and we decided to use that same gimmick and try and get laughs - which it didn't pay off because there was far more testosterone in the audience than at QFs.

  • I'm an Alumni of Outspoken...

In 3 years of competing I've been an Outstanding Soloist and 3 times Outstanding Vocal Percussionist at ICCAs....

I helped coach the winner of Outstanding VP this year...

My acappella resume is pretty full...

I was at Semi's this year... and your performance was a step up from Quarters which was cool... I wasnt sure if "Sass" was a gimic or a goal for the set... but it definitely was in a different direction from the testosterone of other 4 groups...

  • Haha! I meant the venue naturally helps higher pitches be heard more easily. You sounded...lovely? :)

  • and you need to add plnupointless as a friend and subscribe to it....I already did it for you guys. lol.

  • I don't know a lot of their stuff, but I do know this one!

As for the bass, even if you get another there for semi's, I'd still mic one or both of them. Especially at big venues where they're more favorable to higher frequency tones, adding a mic on bass is really pro strat. I wish more groups realized this.

  • you've heard of this song? i'm glad, not a lot of people know about Avalon.

And we had to mic a bass because we only had one with us...lol. The other one couldn't make it!

  • Good song choice. How can you not love this song?

Also, way to go with your mic strategy - micing bass is a stroke of genius.
