"The Night Before" is a song by The Beatles from the album Help!. It was written by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon/McCartney. The song is performed on the Salisbury Plain in the second Beatles film, Help!.

John Lennon plays a Hohner Pianet electric piano throughout the song accompanied by McCartney's ascending and descending bass lines. Lennon and George Harrison sing harmony during the end of each verse and the chorus, singing "Aaah the night before...". After the second repeat of the refrain, Harrison plays a guitar solo and a portion of that solo reappears at the end of the song.

  • Good job with the editing! I know the performance is all chopped up in the movie and incomplete. You did a great job making it look whole!

  • 1 person forgot what happened the night before.
