this anime is funny for me since i myself is a hikikomori 引き篭もり but the difference is i go outside from time to time it's funny when you watch it it's depressing when your in the situation haha

..it's been three months, but I guess I'll clear it up.

his mom sends him money, referred to as an "allowance" throughout the series, first she cuts it in half, and then his friend (the girl whom I can't remember her name for the life of me, misaki?) and she starts bringing him food due to the halved allowance, and then when she cuts off his funds and his otaku friend can't send the food after all, and other circumstances, he ends up getting a job.

at least that guy has his own place though, i don't understand how (due to the fact that he has no job). Maybe he has rich parents who pay for him to stay there? I am barely scraping by living with my dad who hates me, so its even worse. I could be homeless any time, even though I have a part time job. I live out in the country with no drivers license because no one ever wants to bring me into town to take the test. I get rides to work and thats about it. I'd actually get out if i lived in town.

@Vaasago same here, it's probably one of the most depressing animes I've ever seen. I haven't even finished the series, but yet I feel like I have to finish it in hopes that he changes his life. This song is so fucking depressing...
