  • Instead of sweeping an arc above the point P, couldn't you also sweep an arc below the pt P and then copy the angle below pt P? Where the two arcs intersected would also create a pt that could be used to draw a parallel line thru P. This would have created an alternate interior angle, as opposed to the corresponding angle you created. Just another way to look at this!
