Here is the part of the demo where you can actually here the amp in all it's glory... well most of it's glory as I I am sure that there are other people out there who can tear this amp up a whole lot better than I can!!! Anyway, enjoy it!!! I had fun making the video!!! Too bad my kid's asleep or I would still be jamming on it!!! BOOOOO!!! ROCK ON YOUTUBE!!!!

  • awesome tone and playing. What are your settings in the master section , for the mid cut, bright and deep ?

  • @65steveg I couldn't tell ya friend! I did this video a while back and forgot what the hell I used to keep my settings on... to be honest, my settings will change from day to day... If it has knobs... I am always tweakin... that's what they are there for!!!

    ROCK!

  • What do you think of the V3 vs the Legacy? Have you tried the legacy 2?

  • @zillathegorilla I definitely liked the V3 better than the Legacy... more tonal options and it wasn't so loud!! I mean the Legacy could make a deaf man hear again... that is how loud it was. I have never tried a Legacy 2, but they had the man himself help design it with Vai, so it has to sound killer!!

  • do you where i can look at a carvin v3?

  • @darkguiitargod Well... you can always check out websites, but if you are looking to test drive one, you have to go to California where these amps are made. Unfortunately, the only people who carry Carvin amps are Carvin.

  • Are you kidding, you are a bad ass bro!

  • are you running your effects into the effects loop?

  • What cab are you using in this video (and what speakers)?

  • @kschott425 interesting? the legacy and v3 are both 100 watt heads. i have owned both halfstacks for about 3 or 4 years, and havent noticed one to be louder than the other.

  • @phallystorm I can understand... it is definitely more suitable for metal/hard rock... I am a huge fan of Peavey amps... they are reliable, kick ass, tone mongers that can cover a wide array of tonality and musical genres... I just picked up a Boogie Mark IV and oh my... I hope my wife can forgive me for sleeping with the amp more than her!! ROCK!!!

  • @ynnadstrebor Hey Man!! I totally understand what you are saying... that was one reason why I got rid of the amp... the tone controls were not as responsive as I would like them to have been.... especially with the mids! For this video, I was using the stock EL34's... I say... sell the V3, get the cash, take the cash and get a Peavey 6505!!

  • @zzlong55 I appreciate it man... Im not in a band at the moment ( I had to go have kids and become an adult) so Youtube videos is all I have right now!!! Thanks for watching!!!
