So many different people love DT. They have so much edges - and everyone has it's favorite. Thus, i love their Train of Thought - totally another dimension of their creativness , i'm delighted with this album. Epicness makes me drawn!

This album is pretty solid overall (spent my first time listening through it today). Definitely better than BC&SL and SC. Though I just wish they would have ended it with a stronger song. Still best album since Octavarium.

i would say this is their best slow song since ''Hollow Years'' so damn beautiful...james, i love you.

Today was a DRAMATIC TURN OF EVENTS for me today. At first I felt like I was on the BACKS OF ANGELS. When I realized today was only to BUILD ME UP - BREAK ME DOWN. Though the reason was LOST, NOT FORGOTTEN, I realized THIS IS THE LIFE, NO BRIDGES IN THE SKY. When I got home.. I gave a huge OUTCRY as to why this was consuming me. I knew I was FAR FROM HEAVEN and believed I had no hope. I then listened to this album.. and then I was BREAKING ALL ILLUSIONS. Everything is BURIED BEANEATH THE SURFACE

I am really a nobody to comment on music created by such a legendary band. But, I have been a fan of Dream Theater for a long time; mostly for the prog and heavier shit. But this is so damn heartfelt that it moves me every time I listen to it. No complicated shit. Simple. And yet, so amazing. I am proud to have been alive in the Dream Theater era.
One of my life long dreams is to see them live. And to see them play this song live will be like being in heaven.
Long live Dream Theater.
Sounds like it is an Ending Chapter for 25 years of Dream Theater with Mike Portnoy.. A good bye song.. lets face it, they had a wonderful chemistry, they were a family, and its hard to lose someone in your family who has been there through a lot. I love Mike Magini, he is a good addition. But i know the Guys in Dream Theater feel sadness he's gone

You can tell that LaBrie really kicks it into high gear at 4:27. I know a lot of people don't like him as a vocalist, but its moments like that that make him a critical, and irreplaceable part of Dream Theater.
