The George Washington Masonic Lodge #143 is the oldest Masonic building in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and one of the only structures to survive the burning of Chambersburg in 1864. Now it's in dire need of a face-lift.

  • That Confederate General that spared this Lodge may well have been Albert Pike, well-known Masonic author and high ranking Confederate officer.
