Re: Recapping - It's a safety issue, so always change them all. They're already fairly shot and will deteriorate even more...maybe even short out, draw excessive and possibly cause a fire.
New caps are cheap, so don't take the chance.
Besides, who would rebuild a 283c.u. engine from a 1957 Chevy, then leave the old oil filter in it?
How did you make out rebuilding the radio? I just got one of these today and am going to rebuild it
