  • "Go to see a psychiatrist, take your meds and stuff."

I wish it were that easy. I've had awful experiences with psychiatrists and their meds. I've had really frightening reactions to Buspar, Prozac, and Zoloft.

  • i wish you the best in life

  • gad is ah mental illness.

  • i get physical anxiety symptoms like when i have a job interview or doctors appointment the next week the whole week before i will have it and be in the bathroom for a long time and i get it even when i dont go anywhere any ideas to help out

  • i suffer from depersonalization disorder too :/

  • I have the same three disorders, i started with panic attacks and 10 years later gad anxiety im 35, i believe u can cure yourself but its hard, you feel so terrible that we stop trying i guess.

  • "Never goes away"... yeah, that's what they tell you. They're content to feed you their pharmaceuticals. Change can happen.

  • "stay calm" lol irony at its best

  • Hey there!

I'm suffering from GAD as well.

I agree with you, but I guess I could call myself a example of learning to cope with the disorder. Im 17, and Ive started to get better after 5 ish years... I've even reduced my meds and stuff! I agree with you that it'll never go away, but theres always a light at the end of the tunnel. ^_^

  • I dont believe that it never goes away. I think it takes alot of time and effort to get passed it. I have it and im getting alot better. Did you know that Disperlization is a symptom of Anxiety? Thats the one thing i hate about anxiety! Heres a good book to read if your interested- Anxiety 101: Answers for Anxiety. Its about a guy that had it really bad and eventually healed himself from this horrible monster of Anxiety.
