  • Blade speed is 5000 ft per min, which with the 19 inch bandwheels running at about 1000 rpm. 18 horse briggs is running up close to the 3600 rpm max speed, yes, no governor.

  • NICE MILL!!! How do you adjust the tention of the saw blade? I am thinking of building one like yours, because it is the best design I have seen yet!!! Do you have any plans on how to build it?

  • there is know way thats the rated 3600 rpm, thats alot faster, those mills dont usually cut that fast.

  • @vclubamp He might be reving it for the cut only because of the small motor.

  • NICE MACHINE

  • is it just me or does that engine sound like it is running ungoverned?

  • Great stuff, cousin! 8) Jeff
