Cutting soybeans behind my house. Using his new Gleaner R62. He used to own a Gleaner N5 combine. He is going about 3.5 mph.

  • Gleaners are good combines we always ran a 25 foot head on an R62 the last year we used a 30 foot head going about 3 mph. I am assuming that thes is a 20 foot head on this combine?

  • As a matter of fact, yes it is. Also, For corn we use a 6 row header.

  • i thought these combines where known for going fast what happen

  • They usually go fast for an average yeild, but we had such a great crop this year, we are going extra slow so that the combine can take in more crop and take it all in. We don't want to lose any of it.
