For starters, before 1944 your region was titled as an administrative district 'Vardaska' and before 1944 there wasn't even one record that even mentioned a Macedonian Ethnicity, so you tell me where did these 'Macedonians come from?'

If you wanna take it that way it's fine, but the point is you were part of Yugoslavia. There was always a distinction between a 'Slavo Macedonian' and a 'Macedonian.'

Hence, Greece allowed the name 'FYROM' but not Macedonia once you received independance.
