  • Now if only we were worried about kids playing too much nintendo and Exercising too little we could prevent a lot of childhood obesity.

  • I started running and riding as a kid with my Dad and still love to ride and race. I actually road 40 yesterday and 32 today.

  • He loves being out doors, hiking, camping, mountain biking so we try to mix it up and keep it fun, but I agree that a child can get burnt out of anything from Chess to Violin so moderation is key.

  • His older brothers have not taken to riding and were never forced to. I guess your concern can apply to any youth sport from Hockey to Baseball.

  • im a 17-18 jr, i started racing bikes at 6....from past experience i have a feeling ur son is going to get burnt out from the sport

  • @ddpaintballer I appreciate your concern and can assure that this is something he really enjoys and gains confidence from and not some thing that he is forced to do.
