It's nice that he apologized. Leaders need to know how to do that. I hope people forgive him for not being perfect.
We all do things we regret at times, and none of us are perfect. That's why forgiveness is important. We all need forgiveness sometimes.
Jesus teaches us to forgive others as God forgives us.
John Edwards is guilty of love. Is that such a bad thing?

The ability to admit a mistake and own up to it is the mark of true integrity. All kinds of information surfaces over time that will bring to fruition what should have with perfect 20-20 vision and hindsight analysis been done so that we can rectify or adjust our course in life. We are supposed to learn from our mistakes. That is why life changes: so we can grow and hopefully over time improve our personal and communal track record.
