  • @ECO2BAT506 Thumbs up! I'm a Christian Mystic, and have no religion. We are all one humanity; Jesus didn't come to start a religion, but show the way to the Kingdom of God within us and atone believers. Spirituality and Religion are 2 different things; religion is man made and produces self-righteousness and war. Spirituality crucifies the ego and enlightens. Research, and contemplation, walk in faith and love...no religion needed.

  • @DaReaperZ People kill other to keep and take power, not for religion. Gallileo was killed as he was seen as undermining the authority at the time which happened to be the Church. Socrates was also killed because he was undermining authority of the Greek Government. Stalin was an Atheist and he is a mass murderer.

  • @blazestudios23 ffs, Stalin was "NOT a believer" as supposed to having an Atheist position. Neither was Pol Pot. Check Stalin's Orthodox ties and see a man inspired by the manacle of religion. Good people will do good things, evil men evil deeds, but a good man will do wicked things in the name of religion. Zealousness and odd solipsisms do the harm: created insanity.

  • @DaReaperZ Obviously religion is the source of all persecution and stagnation in the world. If no religions had ever developed, then other differences between people would fill the gap. Also, religion was central to the development and preservation of science at many points in history. Many of the greatest thinkers of our time have been deeply religious men. Lastly, no educated person has though the world flat since the 2nd or 3rd century BC. Nobody was executed for thinking the world flat.

  • @DaReaperZ Didn't you watch the beginning of this? The Crusades were a power grab by the Pope who wanted to be the Ultimate Power in Europe. Sure he used religion as part of his power grab, but he did it for power not religion. Those who want to grab power use any means they can to manipulate people. One of the top tools they use is saying that a religion somehow supports violence, violence that will help them (most religions explicitly say violence is bad, but that does not stop these people).
