Chapter 53
we had breakfast then I went to get ready. I walked down stairs
David: hey
I hugged him
Gabby: hey
David: I have something for you
He handed me a piece of paper
Gabby: what is it ?
David: its the song you wanted me to finish
I read it over
Gabby: David this is amazing
He smiled we hung out for a while then he headed home. I went to my room, I picked up my guitar and started playing a tune with the song.
I woke up my arms were wrapped around something I looked around, Kevin was carrying me
Gabby: Kev ?
Kevin: hey sweetie
He walked out of the door, it was cold outside, I put my head into Kevins neck, he walked on the bus and put me in my bunk , I feel asleep,
I woke up and jumped out of my bunk, I walked into the kitchen area and sat by the table next to Joe.
Joe: hey !
Gabby: hi, mom do you know where my backpack is ?
Mom: yeah, its in the back lounge sweetie ?
Gabby: thanks
I got up then walked into the back lounge, I got the song out and went over it a couple times I put it back in my bag then walked over to my bunk, my cell was on my pillow, I picked it up
1 new message: Greg
Gabby
Hey can we talk
Greg xxx
I decided not to text him back yet. I jumped off my bunk, but bumped into somebody
Gabby: dad !
Dad: hey baby
I hugged him then walked away, I heard him laugh. I went in the back lounge. Kev, Joe and Nick were sitting in there
Kevin: hey
Gabby: hi
I sat down
Nick: weve got sound check soon
Suddenly I felt nervous, I havent all day, until now
Joe: are you ok Gabs ?
Gabby: oh yeah Im fine
Dad: guys sound check
We got off the bus then walked into the arena. We got to the stage, the band was already there. I hugged John, Ryan and Jack then at on the side of the stage while they and a few songs after they finished I walked up to the mic
Gabby: hey dad ?
Dad: yeah baby ?
Gabby: can I have a go at a new song ?
Dad: sure sweetie
I give the music to the band, I started singing
