thanks for all the comments....but i do prefer to make sure that i am in control of a session. as i have found with a stern voice rather than the normal slow relaxing voice i have much better results cheers guys

when you have hold of there hand and have them staring at a certain spot on the hand dont release your grip for about a minute or so of them staring so that there eyes beging to feel heavy....

then when you see movement in the eyes(looking drowsy)

then release your grip when you see the movement and then continue with everything else you continue to do

I found this to be a great induction technique, something I was wondering is when I enter the trance state sometimes I begin to have visions from my childhood although the hypnotist doesn't mention anything about dreaming in this way. Is this bc I've become so relaxed that I entered a stage of sleep or is this to be expected with hypnosis?

this is my fav induction i use with clientys, one tip i would give is just tapp the elbo and bac k of the hand, it creates catalepsy and makes much easier, also count DOWN for 10 to 1, it again signifies the going down. oh and i qwould agree about the speed of the voice being slightly high

It's good aggression, it's purely for making sure he keeps the attention. @SouthendHypnosis: was this the first thing you did on this person?

Nicely done. My only comment would be that I felt some aggression in your tone and speed of talking, which would (maybe just personally) raise some s/c safeguards for me.
