it is too booooringg!!!!!
-
Something is wrong with both the Drivers and the government taking "care" of these roads.
-
c'est surement les americains......c'est eux qui ne savent pas conduire..surtout sur la glace!!!!!!
-
They'd be fine if the dumb asses wouldn't stop on a hill
-
Simply buy winter tires. When you have manual gearbox snow is not the problem
-
4-wheeldrive + low gear ratio + proper winter-tires (and always have snowchains in your car just in case) = no problem.

Actually the Odell Ave hill from Warburton Ave to N.Broadway is a scarier hill to manuever in rain, sleet, or snow must less ice! Ashburton from Warburton to Neperhan is a wild one too. A few years ago I was on the City Line 1 Bus coming up from 242nd Subway station and when it got to the Court house/Police Barracks on Bway it slid down from the Hospital all the way to the Neperhan/Main Street intersection and that wasn't even as steep as the other hills in Yonkers

@olaf2046 that's amazing. I saw a school bus full of kids go down this hill sideways. It didn't stop til it hit that wall.

@WaffleBrother Hi, this is in Yonkers, NY, just north of NY City. All the cabbies say it's the second hilliest city in the country after San Francisco, though I'm not exactly sure what they mean. I think it means the roads are steepest, which I believe. There's one with over a 20% grade, which isn't even legal for a walking ramp.
