Video showing the unfortunate results of leaving my aquarium for 3 :P About half my SPS are dead, and the rest are still stressed out from an unknown situation that hit my tank on about May 11, 2011.

Trying to think of a course of action from here on. More updates to come.

  • WOW man, my heart goes out to you. You are not alone here. It can happen to us all, and system can very well recover easily. Keep your head up and don't give up. As stated on my channel, "this hobby comes with highs and lows, ups and downs, trial and error, and then eventually success". Good luck. Ha ha, a little ricket :)

  • Well, first off a big CONGRATZ on the soon to be addition. Best thing that ever happened to me is my daughter.

As for the tank, I would be crying. Your system was beautiful and amazing at the same time. Whatever path you take will be the right one. I will continue to watch either way. I love your vids!!

  • @samuelwaynefoleyjr

This is Rickets Reef, not Limpits Reef.

BTW Ricket, sorry to see that your tank crashed. Never had that happen to me but it sure does suck.

  • that totally blows dude. that would suck ass if my corals died like that.

  • Oh, a power outage however short also often kills off corals.

  • By the way, use monopod or something, video would be less shaky and much more enjoyable!

  • I was about to say that - penny! I'm sorry to hear this but I wish you keep it going!
