Alexeiff invented the first, used for these animations, but later it was sold as a toy for kids, that most people have had at one point or another

I can't imagine how many countless hours it took to make thes old pinscreen animations, thanks for posting.I don't know who first invented pinscreen but I'm pretty sure it was way before the 1930's, I saw a little documentary on the first animated films & a pinscreen of a squirrel was the first.

to cunoamit, it wasnt that alexeieff mastered this technique, he literally invented in the early 30's

thats unbeliveable that someone is able to do that with such persision it liderly looks like a painting. thank you SO much for posting this I have looked Everywhere for pinscreen animation and now I found it. thank you again.
