Book's Foodie: A visit to Miner's, Union Gap, Washington (June 6, 2009)

Miner's is a hamburger joint just outside of Yakima, Washington that has been there for 61 years, a Central Washington institution. People here will always say "you gotta stop at Miner's, you gotta stop at Miner's", and people from Seattle and Portland are often told to make the 2 1/2 hour trip to eat there. Here's a brief look at the excursion, on what was a very breezy and slightly chilly late Spring afternoon.

This video accompanies my review on my food blog, but I thought it was okay. The burger was thin and got soggy fast. Fries were decent but was a bit overcooked. The milkshake (I had a few sips) was very good. The customer service was excellent. It wasn't horrible, so I'd like to visit again and try something else.
