13 PC Games of Halloween - Nightmare Creatures

A quick run-through of a level in Nightmare Creatures on Hard difficulty.

The original footage was a lot clearer than this. For some reason, high quality doesn't seem to help much either.

I tried to cut down on transitions as much as possible.
3:48: Just ran back and got health power-up from previous zombie.
4:18: Werewolf fight took longer than it should have. Nothing interesting cut out anyway.
6:46: Ran back around room before finishing zombie from earlier.
7:25: Got stuck for a minute as the door didn't open when I thought I struck it the first time.

The graphics actually can look better than this. I had to turn off Hardware Acceleration for the game to run, since I didn't have a "videologic PVR card". It somehow couldn't detect any compatible Direct 3D mode either, so I had to manually force hardware acceleration off before it finally worked. At least Fraps still loaded into it.

This probably left the graphics looking a little blocky, but at least watching in high quality will get rid of the graininess that the conversion to YT caused.

@Ceekur That's ok,the game still looks nice.I have a demo for it for Playstation 1 and I remember playing it years ago when I got it.Yeah back in the '90s.And it was sooo good!It was actually a spooky game,seriously.Pretty good and ahead of its time if I may say!

Rediculous people complaining about the graphics. This was like 12 years ago or more, theyre pretty good considering that, but its all about gameplay anyway. And this game is guaranteed to make you jump just a lil at least first time playing it.

The turn of the century was the heyday of gaming. Those heights will never be reached again. Developers concentrate on the shiny aesthetics of games these days and if a games graphics are below the standard we are at then it is shunned and considered obsolete, disregarding the game play completely. I'm off to play Abe's Odyssey.
