Great albums but what about The grand Wazoo?

Most hard rock... probably Over-Nite Sensation. My favorite albums are Freak Out!, O-NS, Hot Rats, Lumpy Gravy. But I only own like 6 zappa albums... as my collection grows i'm sure i'll find plenty more favorites.

Overnite Sensation, Apostrophy and One Size fits all for Hard rock stuff. Also anything from the 76-79 period with Bozzio on drums.
For me Zappa could fart and record it and Id buy it.

awesome, but Frank buy some socks otherwise you are always gonna be an outsider. Love the man.

This is the jazz period.....for those asking about 'best album to hear' and rock stuff I'd put Live in Helsinki as most worth hearing, and One Size Fits All/ Apostrophe as serious rock albums. Later stuff (man from Utopia, Ship arriving too late) are weird Yerbouti afterthoughts. Most after that is rock opera (thingfish, Joe's Garage etc). Hard to pick out favorites.
