Bush 9-11 lesson learnt

At a Press Conference on Tuesday April 13 2004, George W Bush was asked a simple question about what lessons he had learnt from Sept 11th, and what he thought the biggest mistake he had made was. Simple enough question. *(Well simple question for intelligent people, Not so easy for a dumbass.)

Without his handlers in his ear, he wasn't able to respond by himself and appeared to bumble his answer saying being confronted with a question in a press conference was "all the pressure" . God Help us if he really has to make a decision in a pressure situation....

REPORTER: After 9-11, what would your biggest mistake be, would you say, and what lessons have you learned from it?


GEORGE W BUSH: Hmh ... I wish you'dve give me this written question ahead of time, so I could plan for it...

Uhhh... (long pause - shakes head )

John..... I'm sure historians will look back and say: "GOSH he could have done it better this way or that way..."


Uhhh... (long pause- shakes head)


You know I just uhhh....

I'm sure something will pop into my head here, amidst this press conference, all the pressue of trying to come up with an answer but it hadn't yet....

Y'know I hope I... I dont want to sound like I made no mistakes I am confident I have.

You just havent... You just put me under the spot here.... and maybe I am not as quick on my feet as I should be coming up with one...."
