  • but can I also ask you... your cfs it's truly gone? Completely? As if you never had it? I just ask that because I'm so skeptical that anything could possibly do that for my cfs as everything seems to be so experimental and unsure with the treatment of this syndrome.

  • @supahfreeak Hi, apologies for late reply I have been on holiday. Yes, i received CBT while I was ill. I found for me personally it did really help with the emotional aspects of my illness but not the physical symptoms itself. As for pacing, in my own experience I haven't found it to be particularly helpful. For me, it caused me to faint and exhaust me further. I have now learned this is due to it straining the body further causing symptoms to worsen in response. This is explained in our ebook.

  • @supahfreeak I totally understand. I myself was very doubtful of EFT. But I am absolutely 100 % back to full health. I experience no symptoms of CFS, ever. The good thing about EFT for CFS is that its really really easy to do. I managed to do it by myself. Thats why I created the Ebook. Its a step by step guide on how to treat yourself. Most sufferers are too ill to work and don't have the money for expensive treatments, so the ebook is an inexpensive way to treat yourself at your own pace.

  • Well done on getting well Kelly. I had this terrible illness for 5 yrs myself. Mickel therapy helped me a lot and then I also read a lot about EFT and trained as a practitioner. I teach it to others but don't work as a practitioner. It's very interesting though.

  • Thanks for the comments Maria. Good work on getting EFT out there!!

  • Wow, this is brilliant, thanks for loading it up. I've had CFS for 15 years (now I'm almost 35) and had a breakthrough recently using the Gupta programme for 10 months (using the stop-technique 90% of the time, and only 20-30 minutes per day the other techniques, I think that's the crux of it). I think it's about rewiring the subconscious, because in my theory the subconscious is the boss. EFT is one way to do it, so I believe this kind of stuff to be the best anyone can do for themselves.

  • People will question if this is real. From my point of view, you're clearly telling the truth. I just picked up the book (The EFT Manual) and started doing the tapping a couple of days ago. Though I have a lot of issues (physical and emotional) I'd like to cure, I feel good about his. I just made a video. If anyone wants to see how to do tapping, see my channel :)

  • I think one of the problems with ME is that it is a waste basket diagnosis - in all probability it is several illnesses that have been put under one umbrella. I'm happy that you have recovered from this. The wonders of the human body are breathtaking. I find it baffling that this would work for people suffering from orthastiatic intolerance, full-body myalgia, reduction to 1% of their previous activity levels. Read about the autopsy of Sophia Mirza.

  • I've also heard of using eft for multiple types of anxiety. I never knew it could treat chronic fatigue syndrome. I'm really anxious to try this now as nothing has worked for me thus far. Have you heard of treatments such as cbt or pacing for the treatment of cfs?

  • I've been suffering from CFS as of april 2008 and can honestly say it has almost ruined my life. It has struck me at a time of great importance, (as it is during my GCSE's and A levels), of which the latter I have subsequently had to put on hold.

Luckily my GP and my Consultant have both been extremely open minded and willing to test everything from mould exposure to Thyroid, but all have been negative, though I'm hopeful I can overcome this.

I'm glad to see that others have done so!

  • To me it was blocked energy in a specific point of the body, in the chest, and if I managed to release the blockage, I would be OK for some time, until more physical effort would recreate the conditions of blockage.

I still don't know how I manage that: I concentrate on the feeling, and at the same time I try to be in a state of total relaxation, so the body can somehow heal itself, and when I give up my control completely, the energy moves, the sensation of tightness disappears and I am fine!
