They got a 1 second shock from high amperage and 20,000 volts, but spent months of grueling physical therapy to learn how to walk again and feed themselves. They should've never got out of the truck. The samaritans should've told 911 to cut the electricity first. That amount of electricity can easily jump 3 or 4 feet out of high voltage wires, without having to touch the wires. This could've been a bad situation made even worse with all those people and rescue workers under the wires.

Those people should've wore sunglasses, especially when it's sunset or sunrise in a area like that.
