Testing if shadow volumes look right in the editor, so i can later implement nice real time shadows like in doom3.

  • what hte hell is with the draw distance, its like 20 metres or soemthing.

  • It clearly says that the video was made in the MAP EDITOR, and in map editor, the draw distance doesn't matter.

  • EDITOR for what, and why is draw distance not important?

  • It is map editor for a game (Top Down City) that i am making - see the rest of my videos, and draw distance only matters ingame, and not the editor, but you can set it in editor to anything you want aniway.

  • Right ok but why isn't it the same?

  • because in map editor the draw distance doesn't matter, since it is just a tool for the game. in game the draw distance is auto calculated from the scene camera.
