Oh Canada Eh

I had the pleasure of spending my evening most appropriately at Oh Canada Eh, the evening before Canada Day. Oh Canada Eh is a musical dinner theatre set in a stereotypical Canadian log cabin with long table seating set around a stage. The characters range from a French Canadian trapper, of course a Canadian Mountie, and even Anne of Green Gables.
I video taped segments with my cell phone, but truly they do not give the performance justice. The actors are extremely talented, the singing is great, it's truly engaging and extremely funny. The campy comic style combining a French and English repertoire is fun. The video misses out on alot of the facial gestures which are absolutely hysterical. I laughed and smiled throughout the whole evening. All the songs performed are authentically Canadian, who knew? This is a must see for tourists, and if you live in Niagara, and haven't been, you need to reserve your seat. Bring your friends when you go, the more the merrier. Oh and Happy Canada Day everyone!
