@GaolisVideoLog facts on the ground would prove otherwise, as a christian resident in muslim mindanao, we have witnessed dozens of unreported murders and reprisals done by muslims.. while you're sitting comfortably behind your computer, children are kidnapped, women are raped, people are robbed on the roads and killed.. all unreported because no media would dare report on the human rights atrocities in mindanao, it doesn't fit their narrative of "only minorities can be victims"

before that conflict can be solved we're already all dead by global warming

@MrREAPER2014 I think the powers are just shifting & this causes the recent commotions. The middle east, which used to be controlled & directed by the western world even after WWII has in recent decades started to part from the west. The Arab Spring just now is one of the results. The far east, which was under direct western control til the 1960s & partially still has also started to move away from western ideals. A lot of what's happening in this process isn't positive but some things are. ^_^

@iamnestor There are two kinds of discrimination (1) a government is discriminating against a group (2) a society is discriminating a group. In RP it is for large amounts the latter denunciating Sikh, Chinese or Muslims, also often supported by the media, the churches & the government (e.g. Filipino First). We also should not neglect the two migratory movements enforced by the USA & Marcos to decrease & break native's influence on Mindanao. Lastly RP only focuses solely on the Katagalugan & USA.

@tubedude101 Fine, If you consider it a tragic mistake that you were born there, we will not insist your liking us either. We do not want to share the company of those who do not like us, but it does not mean we hate you or dislike you. Friendship is never be forced on anybody. I wish you were not born here too if you feel so bad about it.

@GaolisVideoLog I beg to differ, muslims, enjoy the same rights and privileges all citizens of the republic enjoy (and they are treated as 2nd class citizens??). If however you mean Mindanao is treated as a 2nd class region by the meager amount of development funds alloted to it by the government then it is not only the muslims who suffer, it is the whole of Mindanao and even in the whole of of Mindanao the muslims are a minority. By this the majority of those who suffer are non-muslims.

@GaolisVideoLog Yeah it is true Christians we're doing many things much like Islam is doing in modern times. I wish our government would keep their nose out of others problems even if people are begging for US help I think we should let them handle their own problems. They spend our tax money and send our boys and girls to die overseas for people who will never die for their own country. The governments are out of control and need to be replaced from top to bottom. I think WWIII is close!

@MrREAPER2014 Thanks for the invitation. There's no way anyone can defend brutal actions in any way. It doesn't matter if it's the Crusades from the middle ages or 9/11 or what not. But I wouldn't necessarily blame it only on religion. Many muslim regions were also colonized until the 20th century & some really crazy people got arms during the cold war just because they were enemies of one side. These factors also take a role there. Coz, Christianity hasn't always been this peaceful either.
USA is the root of this problem. They founded the Republic of the Philippines in 1946. Mindanao has large oil and gold resources, all belonging to the USA. The USA pay the Philippines to fight the people in Mindanao. The US soldiers in Mindanao violate human rights by killing and raping innocents. The USA saw to it, that central philippine ethnic groups, "foreigners", were to migrate to Mindanao, thus pushing the natives back. Mindanaoans have been fighting for independence for 400 years now.

I am pinoy and of Catholic descent (VIsayan) so take your generalizations and shove them were the sun does not shine. Your gross ignorance is laughable at best and simply shows your own stupidity for all the world to see!
My belief is in Malay unity, whether Chrisitan or Muslim, be it in the Philippines, Malaysia or indonesia.
