  • Husky, you are right about expecting the hatch first but it was even more than that. MMA planned his openers to mess with Dimaga. The second game had a hidden rax but normal play to make Dimaga react slower to his hidden two rax in this game. Dimaga had no choice but to scout around the whole perimeter of MMA's base before being able to react. Very clever play.

    I play Random btw @ Masters level

    Meh... same as Broodwar. I always did best with Terran, but I always chose Protoss when viable :D

    I'm taking about being sneaky, zergs can't do that in the first minutes of the game, terrans and protos can easily read what the zerg is doing while protos and terrans can wall of and hide tetch, or hide tetch around the map, zergs can't do that other than proxy a hatch.

    That is why I say it is a unfair disadvantage, 2 race can be very sneaky, zerg can't use that strategy. Zerg can't wall off, or build a spawning pool in the middle of the map.

    "t's called overlord creep."←How do you creep at 2 minutes into the game? How you nydus at 2 minutes into the game? How you get a QUEEN into 2 minutes into the game and how you make a tumor in a hidden place away from the main?

    You can't, terrans can proxy or hide tetch anywhere, same can protos (all this into 2 minutes in the game) while zergs can't, zerg can do that you mention like at 8 or 10 minute marks. Tos and terran has the advantage over zerg on this.

  • @DogsneedpIeasuretoo What are you talking about noob. It's called overlord creep. Not to mention that Zerg can hide nydus worms ANYWHERE they have sight. Don't even need creep. Only noobs complain about how their favourite race is weak. No race is weak.

    AND queens can spread creep so fast and they get MAP SIGHT for it.

  • you have to remember that zerg has mobile floating "supply depot" i understand your point fairly well...in this game dimaga didn't spot any of the rax that means they are hiding somewhere and dimaga should expect rush and not go for 2nd base like he usually does.

    dimaga lost this game bc he made an error not bc zerg is underpowered. his early scout was able to scout terran base but saw nothing! what does that mean? well mma is not building anything or build them somewhere?

    Not the same, hmmm sure zerg can place a lair at random map location on and then cancel it and then build over the creep a building that will stay alive for some minutes.

    While Terran and tos can build a building permanently (or even float it away)

    Is just to easy for tos and terran to hide tech bulding around the map or block their bases from scouts (they can wall in) zerg can't do any of that. In my opinion, it is a bit unfair.
