Pickups demo, Stratocaster CS1960 Relic

Hello all,

here a video to quickly demonstrate the the pickups on this stratocaster, with the 5 ways switch.

I used my blues Junior amp, red repeat delay and a little of MXR Dynacomp.

Tone sounds amazing! According to the specifications of Fender time machine,the CS 60 relic is equiped with 3-ways switch.

Do you change the switch ?

Je change assez souvent mes settings, et la je me rappelle plus trop.

En gros, beaucoup de middle et peu de treble et bass

@stephen102 You couldn't put these single coils into a humbucker guitar like a Les Paul or most PRS axes

Is your neck pickup set low on your low E side. These pickups have great round bass, but it seems not in your neck pickup. I really love this guitar though. I like to cheat up my low end a bit

say if you put those pick ups in a guitar that wasnt a strat like a PRS or les paul would you still get the same strat sound?

@diablomaniac734 .... look into a seymour duncan pickup booster pedal. It fattens the sound and adds 26db gain.

Im not a huge fan of fenders but is there any way to make them sound really fat. I no that the hss strats have humbuckers but can you make a siongle coil pickup sound like a humbucker

At $3000 or so, it had better sound freaking awesome. It also helps that the player is rediculous.

The None Custom Shop Strats are none too shabby though, I freaking love my American Deluxe Fat Strat.
