Engine no 4, Ross Yoke Drive

This engine is an air-cooled model of a Ross Yoke Drive engine, based on the brass model of Rudi Bayha, found in the publication Heissluft Motoren nr 5 by Udo Mannek.
The design has mainly been modified by the use of scrap iron for the base plate and engine plate.
The flywheels are made of bronze flanges and consist of two parts, soldered with silver.
This engine is perfectly balanced and also runs very well with one flywheel.
The driving mechanism of the displacer, working piston and crankshaft has the shape of a cutaway segment of a circle.
