Hey guys thanks for the comments. They've been very helpful.
In the future I'll try to work together a video showing the step-by-step integration of both the rhythm and melody parts of the verse section. Sorry for all the confusion, and happy learning!

when you mean pull off (after at 6th fret G string)....u mean let go or pull it as you take off ur finger?
haxorhater 2 years ago
I'm pretty sure the second idea is right; basically, you're pulling your finger off the fret while still holding it down, which should play another note.

my tappin sounds like shit! :(
is there any way to make it sound so nasty?
exmorbid 2 years ago
I wish I could say there was a quick fix to that, but really you just need to practice a lot. Eventually, you'll be able to tap well and get a pure, clean sound.
However, I will say that if your guitar has a high action, you should do yourself a favor and lower the action. It makes tapping dramatically easier.

my guitar's action is normal i guess,so that cant be it.
i guess ill have to tap like a beast to get it sound good, how long did it take you?

Well I had been tapping prior to learning this song so it wasn't a problem for me. But when I did learn it, it took a few hours of dedication.
