I just listened to seltzer, satriani and beck back to back to back.
I don't think it matters about which is better.
Interpreting a piece of music is a personal thing between the artist and the music, then between their performance/production and the listener. Since these folks all have great ability, I could find something interesting technically and artistically in each, especially comparing how they would treat specific passages or how each would begin the song.
