53,000 clicks. Nice. if you still have it what's it at Now? Mine's just ticked over 33,600 and is running like a dream. No smoke. No oil leaks or oil usage. Completely stock K9 model.

I have a 1991 model that I bought in November. It had 11 000 miles (19 000 km) and runs sweet and starts first time. The motor sounds quiet and there is next to no rust on the frame. For 500 quid with years MOT and new tyres, I thought , why not. Good bikes, but some people do underate them. The GS500 looks sportier than the others (ER5 and CB500).
