Vehicles that compete for the fastest Land Speed Record are also considered "cars", and are eligible to be the fastest car in the world. Those cars are MUCH faster than the Bugatti Veyron and are capable of speeds well over 600 MPH.

Shame about the black American music track. The Veyron is wholly a product of the European imagination, of European mind, of the European hand. It has nothing of the American urban ghetto in it, nothing whatsoever of Africa. Can't we be a little more intelligent and European in our sensibilities?
