I have that same tripod for 5 years now, just a little tear on the knobs thinking about buying a new one but that is a great tripod right there! :)

@onlyonesimone it's an mk 1000 tripod, I have one it works well in a pinch but mostly good for stills.

The Dolica AX620B100 on Amazon has great review all over the web, and it has professional feature for $40. It is also all aluminum built comparing to plastic tripod.

That's good for static shots but for panning and tilting with great quality, it's going to have a lot of friction' but if it suits your needs and gets that job done then that's all that matters.

I wish I could help more but all that the tripod has written on it is MX-2000P
No brand name anywhere.
