@MondayNightClub If you want to hear the Funk Brothers at their best have a listen to their instrumental version of The Supremes ' Love is like an itching in my heart', both versions are brilliant so it's hard to say which is best, the Funk Brothers on their own or with the Supremes!

Great song, great group but they were the voices and front men for the song. The music was played by the Funk Brothers, as with nearly all Motown songs. Check out the film Standing In The Shadows that tells their story.
